Machined components
Shafts, hubs, couplings, sprockets, gears, pump parts and forged parts, made to drawing and supplied as parts or sub-assemblies.
Overview
Beyond our flagship bearing blocks and DPC rollers, we forge and machine a wide range of components to customer drawings for general engineering.
In-house design, forging and precision machining let us take a part from drawing to dispatch under one roof, and deliver it as a single part or a complete sub-assembly.

Part families
What we machine and forge.
| Part family | Typical features | Industries |
|---|---|---|
| Shafts & pins | Stepped, splined or keyed; turned journals | Steel plant, pumps, agriculture, cranes, railways |
| Hubs & couplings | Keyed bores, bolt patterns, accurate faces | Steel plant, pumps, cranes |
| Sprockets & gears | Machined bores and hubs on forged blanks | Steel plant, agriculture, cranes |
| Pump components | Flanged bodies, bores and sealing faces | Pump industries, hydraulic |
| Forged parts | Forged arms, bridges and brackets, machined to finish | Agriculture, railways, general engineering |
| Bushes & caps | Controlled bores, glands and flanged end caps | Hydraulic, railways |
What matters
What we hold to the drawing.
Dimensions & tolerances
Sizes, fits and positions as specified on the drawing.
Geometry
Runout, squareness and flatness where the function needs it.
Surface finish
Finish on bearing seats, sealing faces and sliding surfaces as called out.
Material
Grade and heat-treatment condition as specified by the customer.

FAQ
Common questions.
Do you only make the parts shown here?
No. These are examples. We manufacture to customer drawings, so send yours.
Can you assemble parts for us?
Yes. We design and build sub-assemblies as well as single parts.
What files should I send?
A PDF drawing is enough to start. A DWG, DXF or STEP file helps us plan machining faster.
Need machined components made to your drawing?
Send the drawing and quantities, and our engineers will come back with a route and quote.
