Brackets and mounting parts with accurate faces and hole positions.
Precision bushes with controlled bore and outside diameters.
Applications
The areas of railways our components go into, and the parts each one uses.
Bogies, brake rigging, suspension and coupler gear
Track components and fastening equipment
Tampers, ballast cleaners and other on-track machines
Overhaul equipment, EOT cranes and handling systems
Parts & materials
Typical grades for guidance. We always follow the material on your drawing.
| Component | Function | Typical materials | Critical features |
|---|---|---|---|
| Pins | Pivots in brake rigging, links and suspension | EN8, EN19, case-hardening steels | Diameter, hardness where specified, finish |
| Bushes & sleeves | Wear surfaces at pivots and joints | EN8, EN353, bronze as specified | Bore and outside diameter fits, concentricity |
| Brackets & housings | Mount and locate equipment | Forged or cast steel | Face flatness, hole positions |
| Shafts | Drives on maintenance machines and auxiliaries | EN19, EN24 | Journal sizes, straightness, keyways |
| Bearing housings | Support rotating shafts | SG iron, cast steel | Bore size and position |
Items for Indian Railways are usually bought against approved drawings and specifications, with inspection by RDSO, RITES or the purchaser's own agency. Mention the specification, drawing revision and inspecting agency in your enquiry so we can plan for it.
What matters
Parts see millions of load cycles. Material, forging and the finish at every fillet decide how long they last.
Spares must be interchangeable across batches and years, so dimensions have to repeat exactly.
Inspection records tied to each batch, so every part can be traced back to how it was made.
Manufacturing route
Material, tolerances, quantities and inspection needs checked up front.
Forging, bar or plate, chosen for the strength and size the part needs.
Stock removed with allowance left for the final operations.
Hardening, normalising or case hardening, where the drawing specifies it.
Bores, journals, faces, keyways, splines and threads brought to final size.
Assembled if required, checked against the drawing, protected and packed.

FAQ
Yes. We manufacture to the drawing and specification you send. Tell us the drawing number, revision and inspecting agency.
Fixtures, automation and inspection against the drawing keep dimensions repeatable from batch to batch.
Pins and shafts commonly use EN8, EN19 or EN24, and wear parts case-hardening steels such as EN353. We follow the grade on your drawing.
